The transitions are interesting, but not necessarily something to photograph in detail especially if you want to sell pictures. The Exe Valley Triathlon at TIverton last weekend was run and cycled in sunshine for the most part, and entertaining. I got an upper body workout by taking around 500 pictures with a big white lens, and they are up for sale at http://charleswhittonphotography.com. Some serious effort went into that, from the runner/cyclist/swimmers, and the organisers and so on. Fun clearly was had.

Our local authority declared itself very very keen to take over looking after our hardware and software. They may have mentioned economies of scale and the assurance of a professionally managed department, and we are of course exceedingly grateful to them for anything they do.

I certainly appreciate the spare 5 minutes each week I get through not needing to do my own IT maintenance and management. I could see half a patient in that time. Which half is best left as an exercise.

She may wish to consider that a rather larger proportion are likely to break their hips beucase they are short of Vitamin D, and that sunshine is good for this.

Each thing in its proper amount, and sectional interests pontificating without an appreciation of the consequences of their action outside their narrow specialist interest may easily cause more harm than good.

Clothes are good, as are hats, and don’t burn, but a bit of sunshine each day is good for you. We don’t get that here, so take it when it is available.

The Phoenix Partnership’s response to criticism has been to make written threats of legal action http://www.ehi.co.uk/news/EHI/7641/ehi-comment-policy-and-tpp agains the on-line journal on whose website comments were made.

This seems to me unwise, not least because of the Streisand Effect, but also because I must now assume that an absence of comments on something about Systm One arises not because it is good, or its providers reliable, but because anyone raising any matter has been threatened into silence.

They’ve still not shown me the software, so I’m not in a position to say anything good about them.
